Common questions
- What do I need to make a kundali?
- A birth date, the town or city, and the time if you have it. Without a time you still get a chart — some things simply cannot be pinned down, and we tell you which.
- What if I don't know my birth time?
- The planetary signs still hold, because every planet except the Moon moves less than a degree a day. The Lagna does not — it advances a degree every four minutes. If you can narrow it to morning, afternoon or evening, that is usually enough to settle the dasha.
- Which ayanamsa do you use?
- Lahiri (Chitrapaksha), the standard used by the Indian government's calendar committee. Raman and KP are available too. Every chart states the ayanamsa value so you can reconcile it against another calculation.
- Is it actually free?
- Yes. The chart, the planet table and the running Mahadasha cost nothing. Detailed reports are sold separately, but seeing your own chart is not gated.
- What happens to my birth details?
- They are used to compute your chart and its recommendations, and nothing else. They are not sold and not used for unrelated marketing. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
